Chapman Hyundai Phoenix is seeking a motivated Express Technician to join our Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level automotive professional who is eager to develop their skills, learn from experienced technicians, and build a long-term career in the automotive industry. In this role, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance and inspections while delivering quality workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, and tire rotations
- Complete minor services such as replacing filters, wiper blades, and batteries
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and document vehicle condition and recommended services
- Communicate inspection findings clearly for Service Advisors to relay to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow dealership and manufacturer standards for all maintenance and repair procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development opportunities
Qualifications
- Experience performing routine automotive maintenance or completion of an automotive training program preferred
- ASE certifications are a plus
- At least 18 years of age
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Good communication and organizational abilities
- Must bring your own tools and toolbox
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
