In this role, you will educate customers on the importance of routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, recommend services, and provide updates throughout the service process to ensure every customer leaves satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, confirm, and prepare for customer service appointments
- Determine vehicle maintenance and repair needs based on customer feedback, inspections, and mileage
- Create repair orders including service recommendations, cost estimates, and timelines
- Obtain customer authorization for recommended services and collect payment
- Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely service completion
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process and follow up regarding service satisfaction
- At least 1 year of customer service or sales experience required
- Previous automotive service advisor or service writer experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive customer relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and sell service recommendations
- Self-motivated, driven individual with a proactive, self-starter attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
- Valid Arizona driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must pass background check and drug screening
