What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Receptionist position at Chapin Veterinary Care Center?
Chapin Veterinary Care Center is a privately owned small animal veterinary practice in Chapin, SC, and we are seeking a veterinary receptionist to welcome to our team!
This is a full-time position with 40 hours a week, and the shift available is 9am to 6pm Monday through Friday with a one hour lunch, and approximately one Saturday a month from 7:30am to noon.
Ideally candidates should have a minimum of six months of experience working in as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic or medical office. Starting wage is commensurate with experience.
Our office is a very fast-paced environment where multitasking and good people skills are crucial, and the ability to work well under pressure is important. Candidates should be proficient in answering calls from multiple phonelines, basic computer and typing skills, and be organized, mature, friendly, and work well with others.
And of course, a love of animals is a must—although our receptionists do not work hands on with animals, they are surrounded by them all day long!
