Scheduling Specialist

Support care before it even begins. As a Scheduling Specialist at Chapa-De Indian Health, you'll thoughtfully build and manage provider schedules, ensuring the right coverage is in place to deliver seamless access and exceptional care for every patient.

Hourly Pay: $24.55-28.35

Duties:

• Create, manage, and adjust daily provider schedules for Medical and Behavioral Health teams in scheduling system.
• Monitor scheduling metrics and proactively communicate scheduling capacity, supply-demand variations, and coverage needs.
• Coordinate coverage for provider leave (PTO/CME), including scheduling locum providers and managing real-time sick call adjustments.
• Maintain scheduling protocols, templates, and dashboards while ensuring accuracy in group visits, meeting blocks, and provider availability.
• Serve as the key liaison between scheduling and operations to ensure alignment with staffing resources, public health trends, and patient access goals.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple schedules, while following guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Experience with Microsoft Platform and ideally EMR.
• Current and in good standing: CDL, vehicle insurance and DMV report.
