Channeled Resources Group (CRG) is looking for a dedicagted Technical Service Representative to join our fast-paced team. This crucial role acts as the primary liaison between our sales and production teams and our valued customers.
We are seeking someone who excels at building strong relationships and translating technical specifications into practical, effective customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical contact, addressing customer inquiries and resolving product-related issues, specificially for our silicone-coated release liner division.
- Maintain and leverage expert-level knowledge of our product portolio to deliver high-quality technical advice and efective solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: (1) Work closely with the Sales Team by providing technical insights during customer meetings and internal strategic planning. (2) Partner with the Production Team to pinpoint and understand recurring product issues, developing both immediate workarounds and long-term resolutions.
- Documentation & Feedback: (1) Gather and relay customer feedback to the product development team to inform product improvements and future enhancements. (2) Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical manuals, instructional guides, and comprehensive support documentation.
- Cultivate professional and strong relationships with customers to maximize satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.
- Provide clear and effective training to stay current on product knowledge and industry advancements.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proven experience in a technical service, customer support, or field application role, with a strong preference for candidates from the manufacturing, paper, or chemical coatings industry.
- High level of Chemistry knowledge and ability to navigate and handle regulatory requests.
- Strong technical aptitude, enabling the understanding and clear expectation of complex product spedifications and processes.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for both expert and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly sales and production.
- A strong, customer-centric commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline) is preferred, but not mandatory.
