What You’ll Do
- Support crew leads and supervisors with daily operational tasks
- Provide back-up with cleaning of barge tanks using high-pressure water, steam, and cleaning equipment
- Set up, operate, and maintain hoses, pumps, and vacuum systems
- Enter confined spaces to remove residue, sludge, and debris (following all safety protocols)
- Train on barge cleaning procedures and equipment to provide backup support to the barge cleaning team
- Perform barge cleaning duties as needed, with increased responsibility during peak seasons (including summer)
- Handle tools, materials, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Perform general labor duties including lifting, carrying, and equipment setup
What We’re Looking For
- TWIC card required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous industrial, labor, or cleaning experience is a plus (not required)
- Ability to work in confined spaces and physically demanding conditions
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in hot, wet, and hazardous environments
- Strong work ethic and reliability required
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts, especially during peak seasons
