Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Frederick County, MD. As an RBT, you will work one-on-one with clients implementing treatment plans developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Our team focuses on assent-based, compassionate ABA therapy that helps children build communication, social, and daily living skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities in homes, schools, and community settings
- Implement treatment plans developed by a BCBA, working one-on-one with clients
- Maintain accurate and timely data collection and reporting
- Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and modify treatment plans as needed
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to clients and families
- Must hold a current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- High school diploma (bachelor's degree in a related field preferred)
- One year minimum of working with individuals with autism, developmental delays, or behavioral challenges
- Experience with online data collection programs preferred
- Efficient written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines in the field of ABA
- Must submit to a federal and state background check
- Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run, or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, lift, move, and carry up to 35 lbs
- Reliable mode of transportation and ability to travel up to 45 minutes
- Current first aid and CPR certifications and willingness to complete background checks
- Must have Afternoon/Evening availability
- Competitive pay: $25-$32 per hour (based on experience and certification)
