About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level .NET/C# Developer to join our government client's Transportation team in Raleigh, NC. This is a hybrid contract opportunity supporting the Traffic Records Systems team on the eCrash and NCCRIS projects. The primary focus of this role is to assist in collecting, analyzing, and distributing motor vehicle accident information by converting legacy applications from Java to .NET.
Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop software solutions to convert existing Traffic Records Systems applications from Java to .NET.
- Support data management and traffic safety initiatives through robust application development.
- Perform full lifecycle development including application analysis, design, cost analysis, and staffing estimation.
- Conduct thorough testing, documentation, and implementation of software solutions.
- Utilize Git and Azure DevOps for version control and project management.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate data collection and distribution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Math, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of documented experience developing applications using .NET/C#.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing applications using SQL Server.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience developing applications using REST APIs.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience using GIT/Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated ability in application analysis, design, testing, documentation, and implementation.
- Residency Requirement: Candidates must currently live in North Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC.
- Experience with .NET Core.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office products.
