Landscape Construction Foreman

Location: Pocatello, ID
Compensation: $22.50 – $32.00 per hour to start (Depending on Experience)
About the Position
Changing Seasons Landscape & Sprinklers is a premier landscape construction and irrigation firm. While our company maintains a maintenance division, this specific position is strictly dedicated to our Construction Division. We are seeking a highly skilled Landscape Construction Foreman to oversee high-end residential and commercial installations from initial site preparation to final completion. This is a leadership role for a trade professional who specializes in the structural and technical side of landscaping.
Primary Responsibilities
- Site Management: Lead project execution from the initial rough grade to the final landscape finish.
- Precision Excavation & Grading: Expert operation of skid steers and mini-excavators to ensure proper elevations, sub-base preparation, and site drainage.
- Hardscape Construction: Oversee the professional installation of paver patios, walkways, and both boulder and block retaining walls.
- Irrigation Infrastructure: Direct the layout and installation of comprehensive sprinkler systems, including advanced troubleshooting and technical repairs.
- Softscape Installation: Manage the proper planting of specimen trees and shrubs, along with large-scale sod installation.
- Logistics: Ensure the safe transport of equipment; proficiency in hauling and maneuvering trailers is mandatory.
Leadership & Project Oversight
- Crew Supervision: Manage on-site personnel, maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and efficiency.
- Project Organization: Coordinate daily tasks, manage material deliveries, and ensure project timelines are met.
- Communication: Act as the primary on-site professional, ensuring all builds meet design specifications and company standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Professional Experience Only: Applicants must demonstrate an extensive, documented background in the landscape construction fields listed above. If you do not have professional experience in excavation, grading, and hardscape installation, please do not apply for this position.
- Technical Standards: General labor or residential lawn maintenance experience does not qualify as the professional construction experience required for this role.
- Driver’s License: A valid Driver’s License and significant experience pulling and backing equipment trailers are required.
- Professionalism: A commitment to quality, punctuality, and maintaining a clean, orderly job site.
