Are you an educator who loves helping children learn but is looking for something more than a traditional classroom?

At Changing Lives Academy, we're building an innovative educational program for children with autism where creativity, collaboration, and individualized instruction are at the center of everything we do.

We're looking for an educator who wants to do more than teach a prescribed curriculum. We want someone who is excited to help create meaningful learning experiences, contribute new ideas, and play an active role in building a program that truly changes lives.

This is not a position where you'll simply inherit someone else's classroom. It's an opportunity to help build an Academy. Your ideas, creativity, and professional expertise will be valued as we continue developing an individualized learning environment where every child has the opportunity to succeed.

No prior ABA experience is required. We provide paid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and ongoing mentorship from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

What You'll Do

• Provide individualized academic instruction through the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Develop engaging lesson plans that promote academic, communication, social, and functional skill development.
• Create hands-on learning activities and instructional materials.
• Help evaluate and select curriculum and educational resources.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction based on individual learner needs.
• Collaborate with BCBAs to integrate academic and clinical goals into daily instruction.
• Collect objective data to monitor student progress.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Build meaningful relationships with students, families, and fellow team members.
• Contribute ideas that help shape the future of Changing Lives Academy.

Professional Development

Every Educator begins by completing paid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and developing competency in Applied Behavior Analysis before transitioning into their instructional role within Changing Lives Academy. This unique training equips our educators with evidence-based strategies that enhance learning, communication, behavior, and student success.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Elementary Education, Psychology, Child Development, or a related field.
