Critical Job Functions:
- Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers supporting surveillance data distribution
- Implement HA and failover capabilities including redundant paths, dual-homing, HSRP/VRRP, and distributed load balancing to support 99.999% availability target
- Develop and maintain network disaster recovery strategies including alternate routing, cloud failover, and recovery site connectivity; ensure low-latency failover across distributed and hybrid/cloud environments
- Provide engineering support for radar distribution over wide-area networks — ensuring real-time delivery, synchronization, and redundancy of radar data to DoD, DHS, and LE stakeholders across operational sites
- Develop network testing plans for simulated outages; conduct periodic DR drills and failover testing to validate disaster recovery and failover readiness
- Maintain technical documentation for recovery workflows including network diagrams with failover and recovery paths; deliver network disaster recovery strategies and enterprise network infrastructure documentation when directed by COR
- Define, manage, and track network configuration items (topology diagrams, configurations) within client’s infrastructure in coordination with the CM team; ensure all changes are planned, tracked, validated, and reversible per the client Change Management Policy
