Loan Consultant/ Account Executive Assistant (Bilingual)
Location: Anaheim, CA (In Office)
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Executive Assistant (AEA) to support our growing wholesale lending team. This role is similar to a Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) but is focused on supporting Account Executives and mortgage brokers throughout the loan origination process.
The ideal candidate is bilingual, has a strong understanding of mortgage underwriting guidelines, excels at customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Serve as a primary support partner to assigned Account Executive(s)
- Assist brokers with loan scenarios, documentation requirements, and loan submissions.
- Review loan files for completeness and guideline compliance prior to underwriting.
- Analyze income, assets, credit, and collateral documentation.
- Communicate with brokers regarding conditions, outstanding items, and loan status updates.
- Provide exceptional customer service and relationship management.
- Assist with broker onboarding and training when needed.
- Maintain accurate notes and pipeline updates within company systems.
- Partner with Underwriting, Closing, Funding, and Operations teams to move loans efficiently through the process.
- Help identify potential guideline issues before submission to improve turn times and loan quality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of mortgage industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of conventional, government, and Non-QM underwriting guidelines.
- Experience as an LOA, Processor, Junior Underwriter, Underwriter Assistant, or Account Executive Assistant preferred.
- Ability to review income, assets, credit, and collateral documentation.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient with mortgage loan origination systems and mortgage documentation.
- A team player who enjoys helping brokers succeed.
