Role Description
This is a per-diem, on-site role for a Cardiac Sonographer at Change Of Heart Cardiology, located in Sea Girt, NJ. The Cardiac Sonographer will perform diagnostic echocardiographic tests such as transthoracic and stress echocardiograms while ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. Responsibilities also include preparing patients for procedures, maintaining ultrasound equipment, and collaborating with physicians to analyze and interpret results.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience in Cardiology and Non-invasive Cardiology procedures
- Certification or eligibility for certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and credentials such as RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer)
- Solid understanding of Medicine, particularly in the context of cardiovascular health
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate diagnostic images
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant medical field is preferred but not required
- Prior clinical experience in a similar role is advantageous
