ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 

Summary/Objective: 

The Tanker Driver delivers cement in a timely and professional manner, while ensuring the safe and technically proficient operation of the vehicle.

Work Environment: 

• Work time will be outdoors/field.


• Exposure todust and fumes/offensive smellsin the field.


• Exposure to chemicals such as concrete,chemical admixtures,truckcleaner, fuel,greaseand oil. 


• Close proximityto moving mechanical parts.


• Noiselevelwill be loud.

Physical Demands: 

• Lift a maximum weight of100lbs., repetitively lift 50 lbs., carry approximately 50 lbs., and push/pull50 lbs., and pinch/grip approximately 25 lbs.


• Reach overhead and reach away from the body.


• Situp to 11hours per day,standup to but not limited to 5hours per day, walk 3hours per day, and kneel, squat, and climb the other 1 hour per day.


• Climb repetitivelyin and out of the truck and climb up ladders.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 

Experience: 

• Experience and/or formal trainingoperatinga CDL vehicle preferred.


• Experienceoperatinga front-end loader or other heavy equipment preferred.

Special Skills: 

• Written communication,verbal communication, and basic mathematical skills.


• Basic computer knowledge. Ability to learn and use the company dispatch system, iPad,GoogleMapsand company software applications.


• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Certifications: 

• ValidCDL ClassALicensewith Airbrakes with a clean driving record.


• ValidDOTphysical and certification.


• Smith Driving System (must obtain within 1 year of assuming position).


• CPR/First Aid (preferred).
