Cosmetovigilance Manager Section 1: About the Job CHANEL is looking for a Cosmetovigilance Manager to join our Innovation and Development, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance Team in Piscataway, NJ. You will play a leading role in the Post Market Surveillance of CHANEL fragrance and Beauty products. This role interfaces with many internal departments such as Global Product Vigilance, Regulatory, Quality, Legal, Customer Care, Insurance, Sensitive Communications. Externally the position will be in contact with customers, medical professionals and government agencies. The Cosmetovigilance Manager is a key partner for ensuring the continued safety and quality of our products. Our ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience and a passion for data analysis, trend detection, procedural implementation, and compliance. Section 2: What impact you can create at CHANEL: Collection, Evaluation and Monitoring of alleged adverse events Ensure complaints processed follow the correct process in a timely manner. Create or optimize SOPs, procedures, questionnaires, reporting structure and maintenance of records and returns. Conduct causality assessment, collaborate with global vigilance department to exchange information, and evaluate incidence reports. Follow up with consumer or heath care provider for additional information including medical findings. Ensure protection of customer personal data. Understand and follow all state, federal and local regulations. Maintain database records and physical returns. Aid in determination of whether product contributed to Adverse Event or Severe Adverse Event. Reach out for medical input when needed. Contribute towards the detection and monitoring of trends Report to appropriate government agencies such as the FDA in the correct manner and timeframe. Keep up to date on related legislation and regulation and incorporate into process as needed. Causality assessment experience Pharmacist, medical or scientific degree IT skills, data analysis Ability for trend detection Awareness of related legislation and regulation Strong collaboration ideally with global experience High level of interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues, customers, medical professionals and government entities Position Logistics: 5 or more Years of experience Pharmacy, Medical preferred science degree with background in Cosmetovigilence Flex work in Piscataway, NJ. 3 days in office and 2 days from home Global travel potentially once a year Reports to Head of US Innovation and Development, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance
