What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Staff - Support position at Chandler St Breweries?
Position Overview:
Front of House Support Staff are the backbone of our dining room. Roles that are available are Food Runner, Host, Bar back, or Expo. You’ll work closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure guests receive excellent service from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver food to tables promptly and accurately (Food Runner)
- Greet guests, manage wait lists and seating, and provide a friendly first impression (Host)
- Restock and organize bar stations, assist bartenders, and maintain cleanliness (Bar back)
- Check food for accuracy and presentation, coordinate timing between kitchen and service staff (Expo)
- Assist with light cleaning, bussing, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment
- Support team members to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
