Role Description The Residential Plumber is a full-time, on-site role based in Falls Church, VA. This role involves diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing issues, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and related systems. Daily responsibilities include performing maintenance, installing new plumbing components, troubleshooting leaks and blockages, and ensuring all work meets safety and local code requirements. The Residential Plumber will communicate clearly with homeowners, provide professional recommendations, prepare accurate estimates, and document completed work. The role also includes collaborating with team members, maintaining tools and equipment, and upholding Chandler’s standards for timely, courteous customer service.
Qualifications
- Strong residential plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics.
- Experience working with pipes and related components, including cutting, fitting, and replacing piping systems.
- Maintenance and repair skills for plumbing fixtures, water heaters, and associated equipment.
- Commitment to high-quality customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully in homes and on job sites.
- Knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety practices, and proper use of tools and materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for on-site work in Burke, VA and surrounding areas.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time and tasks effectively.
- Relevant trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent on-the-job experience; plumbing license or certifications are a plus.
