Certification Details BLS ACLS for ICU and Operating room roles, and MS / Tele as it's cardiac-related NIHSS if the facility specializes in stroke care Job Details A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS / Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2 years of current tele experience. There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass / fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. Job Requirements The right candidate will have 2 years of current tele experience, an active AZ license or compact, ability to titrate drips. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD. Schedule Information 12 hr shifts. 7-7. Every other weekend requirement. Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units. Floating required depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, and every holding area. Floating would include between Chandler & Mercy Gilbert campuses. Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen. Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible. Unit Specific Information Tele B3A unit with 32 beds - Tele Neuro unit with 28 beds - Medical-Surgical C5 unit with 32 beds, which includes Ortho, Surgical, Oncology - Medical-Surgical B2C unit with 29 beds. Additional Details Travelers must be able to titrate cardiac drips. Study guides will be provided with first day instructions.
