What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Tech position at Chandler Hall Health Svcs?
We are currently seeking Certified Medication Technician/Care Partners for our Personal Care/Memory Care residents.
Now hiring for part-time, and per-diem! Shifts are 7 am-3 pm, 3 pm-11 pm, and 11 pm-7 am. Pay is based on experience. Experienced Med Tech's can make over $20 per hour including differentials.
Shift differentials:
Weekends: $2 extra!
Evenings: $1 extra!
Nights: $1 extra!
Requirements:
- Current DHS Medication Administration certification required.
- Current Diabetes Education (preferred.)
- High school diploma or CNA certification or equivalent education required.
This position is responsible for administering prescribed medications timely and accurately and providing direct care as needed. Other responsibilities include taking vital signs, observing and reporting changes in resident health or medication reactions, accurate and timely documentation, and completion of incident reports. The candidate will be expected to work independently and as a team member while participating in ensuring the overall well-being and safety of the residents. Every other weekend required.
