Job Summary
This position provides front office reception services for the Counseling Program, Disability Resource Services, and Dean of Student Development. This administrative support position assists all areas by performing various reception, office coordination and clerical duties in an academic and service environment. The Office Coordinator must be adept at working effectively with a large population of students, faculty, administrators, staff, and community members and demonstrate personal integrity regarding the confidential nature of work in this department.
Essential Functions
90% - Overseeing clerical tasks such as software experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications, copying and scanning, serve as the initial point of contact in greeting students, faculty, and staff; and communicate necessary information to the correct department; answering phone calls, entering and updating appointments, ensure the front office area is clean and orderly, completing daily/weekly assigned tasks, maintain privacy and confidentiality in an office environment, and assist departments with assignments as needed
10% - Other duties as assigned

- Knowledge of standard office practices, policies, procedures, and equipment.
- Software experience should include Microsoft Office Suite and Google applications
- Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication.
- Experience in an office environment, customer service, and/or other public facing services that would qualify
- Must be able to work the assigned schedule, including designated days and hours.
- Must be adept at working effectively with a diverse population of students, faculty, administrators, staff, and community members
Special Working Conditions
Incumbents may be required to sit for extended periods of time, lift office supplies weighing up to 10 pounds and deliver materials to various offices/classrooms on campus as needed.
