Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with fueling, product inquiries, and store purchases
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Manage cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and balancing at shift end
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-merchandised
- Conduct product demos when necessary to promote new or featured items
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
- Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information to customers
- Assist with inventory management by stocking supplies and participating in stock counts
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is advantageous
- Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
