JOB DESCRIPTION: ACCOUNT SUPERVISOR
SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate has mastered client relationships and is dedicated to building strong connections with key stakeholders. They are proactive problem-solvers with a results-driven mindset. This role demands a strategic thought leader with the ability to serve both national and/or global clients. The candidate will closely partner with client stakeholders, Agency leaders, strategy and production teams to ensure high quality work is delivered to the client within agreed timelines. Must have excellent project management/communication and client management skills supported ideally by a strong production background.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client:
- Establish and maintain effective, ongoing, cross-functional communications with internal and external clients regarding client needs and production processes
- Serve as liaison between the agency and the client, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
- Troubleshooting & addressing potential problems before they arise. Anticipate and proactively manage areas of project risk (scope, budget, people, technology, quality, timeline, resources, communications)
- Develop and maintain strong, collaborative internal and external relationships, becoming the client’s go-to agency resource for day-to-day communications (timelines, deliverables, presentations, feedback).
Team:
- Effectively communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Digest, interpret, and thoughtfully disseminate client feedback to the project team.
- Clearly communicate with all stakeholders about project progress and action items.
- Train, manage, mentor, and lead direct report, Account Manager.
Finance:
- Create staffing plans, proposals, formal SOWs
- Develop accurate budgets and timelines and manage budget in partnership with Finance and successfully forecast against a project pipeline and guide decisions toward healthy agency profitability.
- Manage cost estimates for new/ad hoc projects. Prepare budget and burn reports.
- Take ownership of sending invoices and maintaining a weekly invoice status
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strategic, motivated, positive experienced multiteam manager with solid operational, production, and project management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation, and client-facing communication skills
- Self-driven and able to manage and prioritize workload for self and teams. Strong sense of initiative, ability to act as an independent leader. Excellent multi-tasking, networking, time management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage with senior stakeholders.
- Team player and able to flex within structure
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-6 years working at agencies or in-house within advertising, branding and/or magazines running client accounts and developing client relationships
- Production experience
Salary : $105,000 - $115,000
