Professional Staff Positions
The Council Rock School District continually accepts applications and screens for all Professional Staff positions. In order to begin the process of joining the Council Rock School District, you must complete this application. After you have submitted your application, your application will be reviewed and you will receive notification of the next steps in our process. You cannot apply to our building level job postings until you have passed our centralized screening process.
You will be required to upload the following documents in order to complete this application:
1. College transcripts - This is for all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended. Please put all transcripts into one PDF file and upload as a one document. Transcripts should show that your degree(s) have been conferred. For recent graduates, your transcript will not say conferred immediatley. You may upload your most recent transcript which should include your last semester. You may be asked for the final trasncript during the screening process.
2. PA Teaching Certification - Please upload in PDF format your PA teaching certificate. If you are a recent graduate and do not have your PA Certification yet, you will need to upload a copy of your Praxis/PECT score report combined with a letter from your college/university indicating you have met all the requirements for graduation and for obtaining PA certification.
3. All required clearances - Upon receiving an offer of employment, you will be required to submit valid (within one year) clearances in order to start working.
- PA State Police for Criminal Records Check (Act 34)
- Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
- Federal Criminal History (IdentoGo).
4. Three letters of recommendation. Please upload in PDF format three letters of recommendation/reference. At least one recommendation/reference should be from a supervisor knowledgeable of your work in the classroom.
