Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and providing education to patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV insertion and infusion.
- Monitor patients' progress and respond to changes in their condition.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding health management, including health coaching.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals across various specialties such as hospital medicine, occupational health, ophthalmology, and dementia care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Epic.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.
Experience
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in hospital settings or specialized areas such as occupational health or ophthalmology is preferred.
- Familiarity with IV insertion techniques and experience in administering dermal fillers is a plus.
- Previous experience working with toddlers or in dementia care is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
