Line Cook

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals according to our menu planning and dietary department guidelines. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality and delicious meals.

Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Assist in menu planning and recipe development
- Ensure food preparation meets food safety standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils, including knives
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

Skills:
- Catering experience is a plus
- Proficient in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and guidelines
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong knife skills
