Intensive Paraeducator Needed
Location: Williston Central School
Williston Central School is seeking full time, energetic Intensive Paraeducators to join our special education team. We are looking for skilled, caring individuals to provide intensive support in the areas of multi-layered curriculum or curriculum overlapping, communication, behavior, and activities of daily living across school settings. Candidates will be an advocate of inclusive education, problem-solver and strong collaborator, and a positive team member. Ability to promote child growth and foster independence and a willingness to learn are essential. Paraeducators are contracted 6.5 hrs a day for 194 days. The hourly range is $24.12 - $26.03 based on education and experience. Please note that lifting is a requirement of this job. Positions may include supporting students on the bus ride to and/or from school.
