Key Responsibilities
Business Operations
- Lead and develop a team of Production Schedulers and material planners to ensure effective batch scheduling and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with plant departments to resolve critical issues and meet urgent order requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with Sales, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to align production with customer needs.
- Monitor and report on plant performance metrics, including SIFOT (Shipped In Full On Time) losses and action plans.
- Manage break-in batches and critical orders to minimize disruptions.
- Champion the use of scheduling systems such as SAP and FST Tool to drive planning accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct root cause investigations for order complaints and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with Procurement to address raw material issues and improve supply reliability.
- Ensure timely communication of material-related issues that may impact production plans.
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes and customer satisfaction.
- Provide insights and recommendations to Central Planning for performance optimization.
- Drive implementation of new planning processes and tools.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in ERP and scheduling systems (SAP, FST, etc).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to daily changes.
- Solid understanding of supply chain complexities and production planning.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and scheduling tools.
- Experience in production scheduling or planning roles.
- Prior leadership or team management experience.
- Familiarity with Power BI for performance reporting and data visualization.
- Ensure personal and team compliance with all company safety, quality, operational, and HR policies.
