- Perform technical tasks under the direction of an engineer or manager.
- Prepare detailed estimates of quantities and costs of materials and labor required.
- Interact regularly with customers and co-workers.
- Maintain records for company and customer.
- Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements.
- Read and follow written and/or verbal directions and use a computer to communicate, create, and access information.
- This safety-sensitive role may be subject to employer or customer drug testing
- One year experience with the following:
- Performing mechanical assembly work
- Operating a manual lathe/mill
- Welding (mig and stick)
- Single and 3 phase electrical work
- Ability to interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics
- Working knowledge of hand & power tools, overhead crane
- Speak, read, and write English fluently.
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability work overtime and Saturdays as required

- Potential travel: up to 20% (domestically)
- Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
- Requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hardhats hearing protection and respirators.
- May stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, twist, grasp, lift, climb,
- Requires visual and hearing acuity
- Activities occur indoors and outdoors.
- Extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions, such as wind and humidity.
- Hazards: Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current or exposure to chemicals.
- Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin: fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases, or poor ventilation.
- Oils: potential air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
