When you join our team as a Teacher you will:

• Assistant the Site Director to implement Champions curriculum in a way that supports the unique needs of each child.
• Supervise children while maintaining health and safety standards in a nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, site staff, school personnel, as well as other community partners.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Outstanding communication skills and strong customer service values
• Warm and welcoming demeanor with the ability to provide only positive child guidance
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role
• Use a computer, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that adjusts based on program needs.
• Able to assume postures in low levels to interact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children.
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
