What You’ll Be Doing
As a member of our Accounting team, you’ll help keep the Credit Union’s financial operations accurate, balanced, and compliant. Your role will include:
- Daily Exception Processing – Review Share Draft and ACH exception reports, research discrepancies, and process returns accurately and on time.
- Reconciliations – Reconcile official checks, accounts payable, and assigned general ledger accounts, researching variances and escalating unresolved items.
- Accounts Payable – Manage vendor onboarding, W-9 collection, and annual 1099 filing compliance.
- General Ledger Support – Post general ledger entries, corporate bank transactions, and monthly mortgage and tax postings.
- Reporting & Compliance – Prepare quarterly Call Report documents and monthly Negative Share and Courtesy Pay reports.
- Member & Front-Line Support – Process member service forms and support front-line staff with member questions.
- Confidentiality & Controls – Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data and follow internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
