4th Grade Teacher - Christian School

We are seeking an outgoing, energetic 4th Grade Teacher. We are seeking someone who is called by God, who loves children, and loves education.

Job Requirements:

• Authentic and vibrant faith in Jesus Christ
• Able to teach 22-25 children daily
• Able to manage student behavior effectively
• Communicates well with parents and students
• Uses technology in the classroom
• Follows faithfully the school curriculum
• Loves children and education
• Teach our five core subjects: Reading, Math, Science, Heritage, Bible

Additional Requirements:

• Must live or will relocate within 25 minutes of the church
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
• 3 or more recent work references, including immediate supervisor

Helpful Qualifications

• Has experience teaching children in a school setting
• Has a degree in education

Holidays and Breaks

• Thanksgiving Holiday (5 days)
• Christmas Break (10 days)
• Early Release Days (4-8 per school year)
• Additional School Holidays (5-7 days)
• Summer Break (8 weeks)

Compensation

• Salary range is $37,000-$39,000 paid over 12 months.
• Sign-on bonus depending on educational attainment.
• Employee benefits include enrolling your children at no cost in our academy, worth about $2,000 per child after scholarships and free before-care and aftercare worth about $3,000 per child. For an employee with two children in our school, the value of the contract is worth $47K-50K.
