Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Design, implement, and supervise individualized ABA therapy programs that promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
  • Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor progress, adjust interventions, and ensure treatment efficacy.
  • Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans and provide training on behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and document all patient interactions in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Lead intake sessions for new clients, explaining treatment processes, obtaining informed consent, and establishing rapport with clients and their families.
  • Stay current with developments in behavioral health, applied behavior analysis techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality.

Requirements

  • Valid certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credential from an accredited certifying body.
  • Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
  • Ability to perform patient assessments, interpret medical records, and utilize diagnostic evaluation tools effectively.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of medical documentation and patient information.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and educating families on behavioral health strategies.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in psychology, special education, or related field; additional training in medical terminology is preferred. Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
