Job Description:

Champion is seeking an enthusiastic, organized and goal-oriented Account Services Intern to support our account team with essential account management tasks such as media monitoring, local marketing research, pitch creation and more. This full-time role offers hands-on experience in public relations and marketing and is perfect for students or recent graduates eager to gain client-facing experience in a full-service agency.

This hybrid role works alongside our full-time team members four days a week, with one remote day. Interns will benefit from real-time exposure to industry professionals and the opportunity to contribute to creative and strategic planning for a variety of clients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct media monitoring for clients and update tracking documents daily.
• Support local market research to support New Restaurant/Store Openings and client community events.
• Assist in media outreach efforts and update media contact lists.
• Build influencer lists for targeted client campaigns.
• Participate in client brainstorms and strategy meetings to develop innovative solutions.
• Attend team status calls with clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of client relations, workflows and project management.
• Prepare comprehensive trend and competitor analysis reports.

Job Qualifications:

• Recent graduate or rising college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized with a passion for public relations and marketing.
• Energetic, team-oriented and comfortable working independently when necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Slides/Sheets/Drive, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
