TDLR Mold Worker

Champion Restoration is seeking a dependable, hardworking TDLR Registered Mold Worker to join our Emergency Services team. This is a hands-on field position assisting with residential and commercial mold remediation and restoration projects.

We are looking for someone who understands proper mold remediation procedures, works well as part of a team, and takes pride in completing work safely and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold remediation work according to established protocols and TDLR requirements
• Set up and maintain containment and negative-air environments
• Safely remove affected drywall, insulation, flooring and other building materials
• Perform HEPA vacuuming, detailed cleaning and remediation procedures
• Set up, monitor and remove air-filtration and restoration equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site
• Properly use PPE and follow company safety procedures
• Assist with water mitigation and other emergency restoration projects as needed
• Take job-site photos and assist with required project documentation
• Load, unload and maintain company equipment and vehicles
• Follow direction from the Project Manager and Lead Technician
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and team members

Qualifications

• Current TDLR Mold Worker Registration required
• Mold remediation or restoration experience strongly preferred
• Water mitigation experience is a plus
• Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record and background check
• Able to pass company employment requirements
• Able to perform physical restoration work, including lifting equipment and building materials
• Comfortable working in PPE and containment environments
• Willing to work occasional after-hours or emergency assignments when needed
• Dependable, professional and team-oriented
