Job Summary:
As a Business Development Representative you are an ambassador for our company. You are responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with customers. You will establish and cultivate relationships with new prospects, provide tailored solutions based on customer needs and support company growth through increased sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, investigate, research and target prospects within property management and other multi-unit industry groups.
Follow up on leads, customer inquiries, and service requests in a timely manner.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers over the phone, video calls and in person meetings.
Promote and sell the company's utility products and services.
Conduct sales presentations and explain service options, pricing, and benefits.
Prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for customers.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities using our CRM software.
Collaborate with internal teams such as customer service, account executives, operations, and billing to ensure customer satisfaction.
Meet or exceed established sales targets and performance goals.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory requirements related to utility services.
Manage deadline and communicate consistently with team members and customers in a clear and concise manner.
Organize and present data to team members and potential customers.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
A self-starter who can work independently.
A well developed phone presence and high comfort level in initiating conversations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Familiarity using a CRM software a plus.
