Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy using retail math and basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies, garnishes, and glassware as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Take orders for food and beverages, including catering or banquet services when applicable
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to alcohol laws
- Ability to follow instructions and willingness to adapt to different tasks
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in nightclubs, or banquet environments is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and cocktail presentation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage diverse clientele
- Experience serving in high-volume settings with quick turnaround times
- Background in food service or hospitality industries including retail math, cash handling, and food safety protocols
- Prior experience working with catering or large event setups is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
