Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning filters, skimming debris, balancing chemicals, and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorination systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Install new pools or upgrade existing systems by assembling components, plumbing, and electrical connections following safety standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections of pools to identify issues early and provide timely repairs to prevent larger problems.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all installation and repair activities to ensure a safe work environment.
Experience
- Prior experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing equipment or machinery.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning techniques and routine maintenance tasks.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment required for installation and repairs.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues related to pools.
