Champion Parcel is a premiere Service Provider for FedEx Ground in Fayetteville, Whiteville, & Wilmington, NC. We provide services for FedEx from Maxton to Lumberton, All of Columbus County, and a large part of Wilmington, NC as well as all of Carolina/Kure Beaches.

Delivery Driver

Duties:

- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo from the vehicle using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual labor
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures or documentation
- Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status or address any concerns
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks

Requirements:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles preferred
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is a plus
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor as needed
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Champion Parcel is currently hiring delivery drivers for the Red Springs, Rex, Rennart, Lumberton, Lumber Bridge, Pembroke, Maxton, Parkton, and St Pauls.

Routes are based out of Fayetteville.

As we are coming in as new contractors in these areas, we have several opportunities for FT, PT, seasonal, and weekends to help support our current team.

Experience is no longer necessary as you will begin in a FedEx approved training class.

Pay starts at $140 a day, average day is 8 hours.

$140 a day / 8 hours = $17.50 an hour to start

Routes are in Red Springs, Rex, Rennart, Lumberton, Lumber Bridge, Pembroke, Maxton, Parkton, and St Pauls.

- Clean criminal background. (NO felonies or pending charges)

- Clean driving record.

- A solid work ethic and commitment to taking care of our customers and recipients.

- Ability to report to work and get to deliveries on time.

- Be available to work a minimum one Saturday at least 3 weekends a month.

- Be able to pass a drug test & DOT physical.

- Have had a Driver's License a year plus and be Twenty One or older.

- Be able to work in all types of weather. (rain, clear skies, cold, hot, etc. bc boy is it about to get hot!)

- Must be able to move packages up to 150 pounds. (we do provide a package dolly and of course do not expect you to just lift that amount)

- Must be able to utilize technology (GPS, scanner, mobile clock-in and scheduling app etc.)

We come in at 7am, load the trucks, and deliver until done with your route.

We do not clock out at a set time, we make sure all deliveries are done and everyone has their deliveries before we go home!
