Champion Construction Service (CCS) is seeking an experienced and reliable construction laborer to join the team. The Laborer will participate in all aspects of the on-site assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead.

- Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned.
- Keeps area and site organized and clean
- Read and use a tape measure
- Read blueprints and orders
- Communicate well with coworkers
- Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
- Represent Champion with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for the full duration of the workday
- Must have clear vision at both close and distant ranges
- Ability to hear clearly
- Travel required during the week and home on weekends.
- Must be willing to work outside in all four seasons
- Must have a strong work ethic
- Must have the ability to work quickly and methodically
- Must understand safety procedures
- Must have good teamwork skills
- Must live the Champion Operating Principles
- Basic knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of houses or buildings
- Ability to troubleshoot, reason, and solve problems
- Previous experience in manufacturing/modular housing desired
- Preference will be given to those applicants with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
