Job Summary
Champion Hoist & Crane is looking for overhead crane service technicians and inspectors in the Houston area. 1 year experience in crane and/or motor controls, troubleshooting, and inspection experience required. We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in overhead crane mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in equipment repair and customer service. This role involves diagnosing and resolving issues with various types of equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform service, including installation, inspections, and balancing.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems to identify malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working in the field.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role, preferably with a focus on mechanical or electrical systems related to overhead cranes.
- Familiarity with overhead cranes and industrial equipment repair is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license is required based on job responsibilities.
- CDL is not required, but is preferred.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
