What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Fence Estimator position at Champion Fence and Construction Services Inc.?
1) Compiling all incoming bid requests into a schedule. This includes all emails, phone calls, and bidding websites.
2) Attending mandatory Pre-bid meetings.
3) Visit project sites.
4) Be able to accurately identify the scope of projects.
5) Have a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of fence and gate systems to accurately quantify projects.
6) Have a comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of equipment that can be utilized on projects.
7) Understand current labor rates and material costs on projects based on the specifics of the project.
8) Write a proposal that accurately identifies project scope, quantity, includes, excludes, and pricing.
9) Compile all required documents including bonds if bidding prime on projects.
10) Work on contract reviews.
11) Produce submittals and shop drawings when requested.
12) Acquire permits when needed.
13) Acquire engineered drawings from vendors when required.
14) Purchase materials at the direction of the project manager.
15) Work with the project managers during projects on change orders.

Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
