Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans tailored to diverse student needs, including literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and a respectful learning environment.
- Engage with children in age-appropriate activities, including toddler care, preschool lessons, and early intervention exercises.
- Help maintain organized classroom environments by preparing materials, lesson planning, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Work closely with children requiring special education or additional support to foster inclusive learning experiences.
- Monitor student progress through observations and standardized testing assistance, providing feedback to teachers for ongoing assessment.
- Collaborate with staff on classroom experience enhancements, child welfare initiatives, and implementing Montessori or other specialized educational approaches.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management tools.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments and support various age groups from toddlers to preschoolers.
- Experience with standardized testing procedures and tutoring methods is advantageous.
- Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is a plus; Montessori or special education background is desirable.
