Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties in designated areas, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist in residential painting projects as needed to enhance facility aesthetics.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, and window washing.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management promptly.
- Serve as a porter when necessary, assisting with the movement of furniture or equipment during events or maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
