Role Description
We are seeking a Service Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Service Manager will oversee and coordinate daily service operations, ensuring timely and efficient heating system installations, maintenance, and repairs. Responsibilities include supervising and supporting service technicians, managing client relationships, scheduling and prioritizing tasks, maintaining service records, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Service Manager will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong technical expertise in heating systems, including boilers, burners, vacuum systems, energy management controls, and water heaters
- Leadership and team management experience, with the ability to direct, support, and mentor a team of service and installation mechanics
- Excellent organizational and scheduling skills, with attention to project timelines, service records, and customer-specific needs
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills to maintain strong customer relationships and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting technical issues related to heating system maintenance and repair
- Previous experience in Heating system services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of safety practices, regulatory compliance, and industry standards
- Technical certification or relevant vocational training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems is a plus
- Proficiency with operational software tools and basic computer skills
