The Director of Business Development position oversees all account acquisition and retention management efforts, as outlined under Functions. This position will focus on developing and managing new and existing business for Champion; as well as supporting growth of additional revenue streams. The Director of Business Development will drive company growth through strategic sales and marketing initiatives, managing and mentoring a high-performance sales and account management team by identifying market opportunities and collaborating with other operations to achieve business objectives. This role requires strong business acumen, relationship management and expertise in pipeline management, contract negotiation and sales forecasting. The Director of Business Development is the responsible party for shaping the year-over-year strategic planning that aligns with the company’s mission and long-term goals, focusing on innovation and excellence in healthcare facility solutions.
The position requires a servant leadership-oriented professional who values productivity and customer engagement. Successful job performance will be measured with the ability to maintain Key Performance Metrics- accomplished through a KPI - MBO (Management by Objective) system comprised of SMART- specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound goals; achievable through effective performance of the below listed duties and with proper collaboration with internal and external stake holders.
