Position Snapshot
A Warehouse Loading Supervisor is commonly expected to manage all loading operations. This includes managing staff performance, maintaining load accuracy, coordinating with transportation and warehouse teams, and ensuring that all trucks depart on schedule. Your ability to lead, coach, and enforce safety and compliance expectations is essential to the success of the department.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements for accuracy, workflow, and productivity.
- Direct and monitor all loading operations to ensure accurate pallet placement, correct route assignment, and secure load integrity.
- Take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, ensuring that all products loaded onto trucks meet Champion Brands’ quality and rotation standards. Verify proper labeling, condition, and adherence to QC guidelines. Ensure trucks are staged, loaded, and sealed on time.
- Adress issues related to inventory discrepancies, inaccurate picks, equipment breakdowns, staffing shortages, or load changes. Provide solutions quickly to avoid delays.
- Coordinate with transportation, replenishment, returns, and warehouse management teams to ensure seamless workflow. Relay relevant information clearly and promptly.
- Perform job duties in a manner that minimizes risk to self and others.
- Enforce and maintain compliance with Champion Brands’ safety policies, ensure PPE usage, complete safety reporting promptly and thoroughly, and ensure proper equipment operations. Maintain a hazard-free environment and complete safety checks before trucks depart.
- Promote collaboration and team commitment to meet collective shift goals while encouraging a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements and Education:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate’s Degree is preferred.
- 2 Years WMS Experience preferred.
- 2 Years previous warehouse work experience preferred.
- Reliable automobile transportation
