We offer steady, year-round work, hands-on training, and opportunities to grow into leadership. Construction, demolition, roofing, or remediation experience is helpful. No asbestos certification? We’ll help you get started. Champion Abatement pays for the required certification course. If you have construction, demolition, roofing, or other hands-on experience and are ready to learn, we’d like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Set up and maintain containment areas
- Perform asbestos removal and demolition after completing required training and certification
- Wear required PPE, including a respirator, coveralls, and gloves
- Follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Help keep job sites clean, organized, and safe
Qualifications
- Dependable, safety-minded, and willing to learn
- Comfortable with physical work and construction environments
- Able to wear required PPE for extended periods
- Works well with a team and follows directions
- Valid driver’s license
- NC Asbestos Worker certification preferred, or willingness to obtain it
