Under the direction of the Workforce Development Director, the
Coordinator One-stop is responsible for coordinating daily operations
and partner activities within the East Central Illinois WorkNet/American
Job Center and its affiliate sites. The position ensures smooth delivery
of customer services, partner collaboration, and compliance with
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) requirements.\
The coordinator serves as the on-site liaison between partner agencies,
staff, and management; oversees the reception and resource room areas;
supports the referral and customer-tracking systems; and assists in
coordinating staff training, events, and facility usage. The position
promotes a seamless, integrated, and customer-focused experience for job
seekers, employers, and community partners.
Coordinate daily operations of the Champaign WorkNet Center and
affiliate sites across LWIA 17.\
Maintain consistent resource-room coverage and ensure access to
computers, internet, and job-search resources.\
Oversee reception and customer intake, ensuring timely registration and
routing to appropriate partner programs.\
Monitor customer flow and assist in implementing process improvements
for efficiency and service quality.\
Track and monitor lease agreements for all five workforce sites and
assist with resolving facility-related issues (e.g., snow removal, HVAC
or A/C failures, general maintenance concerns).\
Ensure front desk and reception functions are managed efficiently,
providing direct customer service support when needed.\
Ensure a welcoming and accessible environment for all visitors,
maintaining cleanliness and professional presentation of lobby and
resource areas.\
Monitor and update all printed and digital materials available in the
Centers lobby and resource areas to ensure accuracy and quality.\
Coordinate scheduling of conference rooms, training spaces, and shared
facilities.\
Oversee general office management functions, including supply ordering,
printer and equipment maintenance, and coordination with security and
building services.\
Monitor and maintain the fleet of vehicles for all LWIA 17 comprehensive
and affiliate sites, including fuel cards, mileage logs, maintenance
schedules, and related documentation.\
Partner Collaboration and Communication\
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for core and required partners
housed in the Center.\
Facilitate cross-training and partner meetings to promote system
alignment and shared understanding of services.\
Support the coordination of referral systems, ensuring follow-up,
documentation, and resolution of customer needs.\
Maintain positive working relationships with all partner agencies and
community organizations.\
Maintain regular communication with affiliate site staff to ensure
consistent service delivery, partner coordination, and information
sharing across all workforce locations.\
Attend required monthly meetings.\
Reporting and Compliance\
Collect and input data for tracking customer engagement, referrals, and
outcomes in compliance with ILDCEO and East Central Illinois Workforce
Board (ECIWB) requirements.\
Support the preparation of quarterly and annual reports for the Director
of the ECIWB.\
Monitor compliance with accessibility and branding.\
Assist CCRPC HR Department with on-site reviews and audits to ensure
adherence to policies and procedures.\
Attend Local Workforce Area Contact System (LWACS) training and be the
LWACs coordinator in Illinois Worknet, monitoring and updating relevant
information.\
Events, Outreach, and Continuous Improvement\
Coordinate on-site job fairs, recruitment events, and community
activities in collaboration with part ers.\
Lead or support system-wide marketing and outreach initiatives in
coordination with partners and the Workforce Board.\
Gather feedback from customers and partners to identify improvement
opportunities and training needs.\
Assist in implementing the Centers annual improvement and training
plans.\
Attend community events to promote the one-stop centers and partner
