This is a full-time, on-site role based in Champaign, IL, for a Director of Development. The Director of Development will oversee fundraising initiatives, manage budgeting related to philanthropy, and cultivate relationships with donors to secure planned and annual giving. Responsibilities include planning and executing fundraising campaigns, collaborating with the organization's leadership to meet financial goals, and identifying new opportunities for philanthropic engagement. The individual in this role will also be responsible for maintaining accurate donor records and communicating the organization's mission and impact to stakeholders.
- Experience with Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies
- Strong background in Philanthropy and Fundraising management
- Proficiency in Budgeting as it relates to fundraising efforts
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Nonprofit Management, Business, or Communications is preferred
- Familiarity with donor management software is a plus
