Overview:
Champ’s Seafood & Grill is seeking a highly skilled Line Cook with 5 years of professional kitchen experience. This role requires expertise on the fry station while also having the flexibility to work across other line stations as needed. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, spec-driven kitchen and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality dishes.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the fry station with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
- Execute menu items to spec, ensuring proper portioning, taste, and presentation.
- Support other kitchen stations (grill, sauté, prep, etc.) as needed.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
- Assist with prep, inventory, and waste management to maximize efficiency.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of line cook experience in a high-volume, spec-driven kitchen.
- Proven expertise on the fry station.
- Strong cross-station cooking skills (grill, sauté, prep).
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with consistency.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Food safety certification (preferred).
